2008 Season - Week 4

Half of the BUMS were present at the weekend and those 8 owners edited down the shortlist of 2008 Hall of Fame nominees from the 89 players available to 11. Since 2002 we’ve inducted 27 players. And now it’s time to put 4 more players into the Marbled Halls based on 3 criteria; scoring, impact and enjoyment provided.. Attached are the 11 men who have been chosen for nomination. Select your favourite 5 players (in order) and get them back to me by Sunday October 12th , which is Trading Day 1. The 4 highest scorers will join the selected band of BUMS Hall of Fame players. Two Coaches get Sacked Just 4 weeks into the season Lane Kiffin (Oakland) and Scott Linehan (St Louis) have been given the boot while Lions GM Matt Millen also received his marching orders. A few BUMS coaches are on the hot seat and more names could be axed by owners demanding more. Daz has yet to see a win from Marv Lewis while Brad Childress (David S), Tony Dungy (Cheryl) and Mike Holmgren (Ron) have only 1 win each so far. Trading Day 1So Trading Day 1 will be before the week 6 fixtures on Sunday Oct 12th. We will trade at 4:30pm before the Sky doubleheader and this will be a good time to lose the deadwood and injured. It could get very busy. BUMS on Seats. Chief is motor racing in Belgium this weekend so we are at Mark B’s from 6pm on Sunday HQ on Sunday for Seattle @ NY Giants (or Washington @ Philadelphia on the Red Button) followed by Buffalo @ Arizona with Tampa Bay @ Denver on Interactive. The late Sunday Night Game (Pittsburgh @ Jacksonville) will be seen on Monday evening at BUMS HQ from 6:30pm and the Monday Night Game (Minnesota @ New Orleans) will be seen on Tuesday evening - venue to be announced.
